As of the 2010 census, the town/city had a populace of 10,189. Since 1971, Eureka has been known as the home of the amusement park Six Flags St.
According to the Eureka Chamber of Commerce, barns workers while clearing way for the track and the next barns camp saw Eureka, level territory with little to clear, and declared, "Eureka!" In 1898, Eureka became home to the St.
Eureka was incorporated as a fourth-class town/city on April 7, 1954.
In 1985, it was took in by the town/city of Eureka.
According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, the town/city has a total region of 10.45 square miles (27.07 km2), of which, 10.35 square miles (26.81 km2) is territory and 0.10 square miles (0.26 km2) is water. There were 3,474 homeholds of which 46.9% had kids under the age of 18 living with them, 66.2% were married couples living together, 9.3% had a female homeholder with no husband present, 3.9% had a male homeholder with no wife present, and 20.6% were non-families.
The median age in the town/city was 37.1 years.
30.9% of inhabitants were under the age of 18; 6% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 26.6% were from 25 to 44; 26.7% were from 45 to 64; and 9.6% were 65 years of age or older.
