Shelbina / l ba n / is a town/city in Shelby County, Missouri, United States.

Shelbina was platted in 1857 when the barns was extended to that point. The name "Shelbina" is derived from Shelby County. A postal service called Shelbina has been in operation since 1858. According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, the town/city has a total region of 2.34 square miles (6.06 km2), all land. As of the census of 2010, there were 1,704 citizens , 717 homeholds, and 443 families residing in the city.

There were 860 housing units at an average density of 367.5 per square mile (141.9/km2).

The ethnic makeup of the town/city was 98.8% White, 0.5% African American, 0.1% Native American, 0.1% Asian, and 0.5% from two or more competitions.

There were 717 homeholds of which 29.3% had kids under the age of 18 living with them, 46.4% were married couples living together, 9.9% had a female homeholder with no husband present, 5.4% had a male homeholder with no wife present, and 38.2% were non-families.
